Ashtari, the Antwerp carpet house, offers a one-of-a-kind hand-knotted Nepalese carpet that beautifully showcases the graphic motifs found in the SS19 collection. The luxurious wool and silk rug takes up a significant portion of the corner and provides an expansive interpretation of the themes running through the collection.
For the second time, Christian Wijnants and Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche are collaborating on an exclusive pop-up corner. Building on the success of the first installation, the Parisian department store and the designer are now creating an eclectic corner that highlights the key themes of the spring-summer '19 collection.
The SS19 collection takes inspiration from the designer's imaginary journey from the Middle East to the Far East, incorporating a range of colorful cultural influences along the Silk Road. The collection features floral patterns and checks that are transformed into graphic mosaics at various scales and in asymmetrical patterns, both on printed fabrics and in jacquard knitwear. Bold colors are also prominent, with layers of blue, light green, and pink in bright, breezy looks such as tailored men's suits, brightly colored windbreakers, oversized shorts, and flowy skirts.
These designs are fully customizable and can be tailored to your preferences. Additionally, the featured design can also be crafted as a runner. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information as we are happy to explain all of the possibilities.
